Strengthening the economic power of women
The objective of the TEA WEEB project is to promote inclusive economic growth, prioritizing micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) led by women and the environment in which they operate in Bolivia. Indeed, about 50% earn a monthly income below the national minimum wage and are more likely to work in poor conditions, have informal jobs, or be unemployed.
In collaboration with the Innovation in Social Entrepreneurship Foundation, we have a series of partners to carry out this project. TEA WEEB is developed in collaboration with the Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs of Bolivia (CAMEBOL), the Committee of Women Entrepreneurs of Bolivia (CEEB), and the municipal governments of Cochabamba, La Paz, and Santa Cruz.

Economic autonomy for Bolivian women
In the last 10 years, Bolivian women have made unprecedented progress. Despite these advances, they continue to be subjected to high levels of domestic violence and economic inequality.
Economic empowerment is key. To support them, the TEA WEEB project acts on several fronts: development of women's businesses, participation in decision-making, and recognition of their needs by governments. The project is reaching 360 MSMEs, 376 CEEB members, 120 CAMEBOL members, and 25 directors, as well as dozens of government workers.
